We publish several different types of articles. These include, but aren't limited to...

1. Feature articles related to youth ministry. (900-1200 words)
   
2. Reviews of youth ministry related books, conferences, articles, etc. (200-500 words) See our Review Guidelines
   
3. Interviews of youth ministry professionals, ministry spotlights, and artist interviews. (500-1000 words)
   
4. Music and movie reviews that may help those in youth ministry leadership. (200-500 words)
5. Other articles, (non-feature) and side bars. (400-800 words)
   
6. Artistic Expression such as a photo, poem, video, audio. (Please contact us regarding size limitations and specs)

Acceptable Formats: When sending an article to us, please send them in Microsoft Word or in a plain text e-mail. Links to websites or blogs will not be accepted. Please include a 1-2 sentence biography and small digital picture which will go in your author bio page. Unfortunately, we cannot offer compensation for your work. (Links in your bio and exposure on the site are the only compensation we can offer.)

Disclaimer: Just like any publisher, Youth Ministry Exchange, LLC reserves the right to accept or reject any submission. Additionally, we may (and often do) edit your article before it is published. 

When submitted, Youth Ministry Exchange, LLC does not "own" your article. We're simply helping emerging authors get the exposure they need to get to the "next level" of writing. However, if you are submitting an article that has been published elsewhere, it is up to the author to obtain permission for YMX to reprint it. The owners of the site presume that you are giving full permission to print and distribute the article by submitting it for publication.
